WordCraft Proofreading & Editing is owned and operated by Dianne Fowlie in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada.
A member of the Editors’ Association of Canada (EAC), Dianne has earned a reputation for reliability and attention to detail, with a congenial yet professional manner, and a keen sense of humour.
Dianne continues to hone her editing skills through reading and studying. She has attended EAC workshops, and has successfully completed Ryerson University's Copyediting for Books, Journals, and Reports. She is currently working through EAC's Meeting Editorial Standards course.
Dianne strongly believes in the importance of work/life balance. While passionate about editing, she also has many and varied interests including languages, music history, piano, sports and recreation, First Nations history, British Columbia history, gardening, and the great outdoors. Dianne’s idea of fun is a mix of reading, cryptic crosswords, running, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, canoeing, hiking, and wilderness camping. Dianne is a certified International Judge for the International Luge Federation, and she was happy to be involved as an official at the 2010 Winter Olympics in beautiful Whistler.
